Philosophical counseling can be understood as a process of aiding the birth of human thought by analyzing the patterns of life using the Socratic method, with the goal being that each individual be assisted along the path to their authentic existence of being a true, good, and beautiful human being. Philosophical counselors are academically trained philosophers who utilize their philosophical knowledge and skills to help guide their clients through life.

At Holland & Company, clients have the option to meet with a philosopher for 50-minutes sessions, either in person or remotely. All in-person sessions are held at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art located at 600 Museum Way in Bentonville, Arkansas.

The most effective frequency for clients of Holland & Company is semi-weekly for $100 per session.

The standard frequency for clients of Holland & Company is weekly for $110 per session.

The minimum frequency for clients of Holland & Company is bi-weekly for $120 per session.

Clients also have the option of obtaining remote access to a philosopher outside of their scheduled meetings for an additional fee.
